Returns Policy

Overview

You can return goods ordered online for any reason within 14 days.
Please see info below on 'choice orders' (orders where you are ordering more than you need to enable you to choose what you want and return the rest)

To be eligible for a return, your must contact us for the returns address and return your items within 14 days of delivery or the first attempted delivery, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it with all labels still attached and coverings intact.
Choice orders need to be returned to us within 3 days

Some types of goods are exempt from being returned i.e. Any goods that have been personalised, made to order, customised or altered in any way either by us or by anyone else cannot be returned.
(some examples of none returnable goods are personalised bibs and items which have been made specifically for you or have had their sizes altered or adjusted)

To complete your return, we need you to email us at info@petitposh.co.uk stating if you wish to return goods for a refund or an exchange.

In addition we require a copy receipt or proof of purchase in the parcel stating which items you have returned.
If you want an exchange, please create a new order for this online and return your original order for a refund.

Do not return goods in the same mailing pack they arrived in as once opened the original mailing pack will be too small once resealed and the goods will be too creased to be resold.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where we cannot refund or only partial refunds are granted:

  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged, creased or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
  • Any item that is returned more than 14 days after delivery or attempted delivery 
  • Choice orders returned more than 3 days after delivery or attempted delivery
  • If you return goods to us that cannot be refunded then you will need to collect these or pay for the cost of returning them to you.
  • Delivery charges are not refunded.
  • If you select our free shipping for orders over £50 delivery option and your return means your order falls below the £50 minimum then our cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund.
  • If you select a delivery service that it is not possible to use to send out your order, (due to the size or quanity of the goods ordered) then we will send your order in a larger mailing polybag or box, we will not charge you extra for this but if you return the goods our extra cost will be deducted from your refund.

If, for any reason, more that 14 days have gone by since your purchase there will be a 50% restocking fee. 
If, for any reason, more that 3 days have gone by since your choice order purchase there will be a 50% restocking fee. 
If, for any reason, more than 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 3 working days but please be aware it may take your bank a few further days for your bank to transfer the funds to your account.

Sorry but we are unable to refund delivery costs and we cannot give free delivery to send out exchanges.
Goods sent out by free delivery will have our cost of delivery to you deducted from your refund if your return means your order falls below the £50 (GBP) minimum order 

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at info@petitposh.co.uk.

Exchanges

Unless you tell us otherwise, we will send your exchange out by the same method you chose for your original order. Sorry we cannot give free delivery on exchanges and we will charge your card postage of sending out your exchange.

Shipping

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item for exchange or refund. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of  shipping will be deducted from your refund. Orders sent with our free delivery service may have the cost of shipping deducted for the value of the refund should they fall below the free delivery threshold or exceed standard delivery costs.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over £40, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

International orders

International customers with a delivery address outside the UK please be aware that as the importer to your country you will be liable for any duty or customs charges made by your countries customs & excise.
There is no VAT on baby & children's clothing in the UK but your country may charge you VAT.

A Polite Request

We are only a small boutique who hate to disappoint customers and we try very hard to dispatch all orders the same working day we receive them.

While you have the goods you have ordered we are unable to sell them to anyone else who may need them urgently so, a very BIG PLEASE, send your returns back straight away rather than wait until the 14 days are almost up.
